2. Disconnect from work

Today's technology allows us a permanent connection with work. It's not hard to be tempted to check email in bed, check notifications, or check the latest figures from the report to be presented the next day. Disconnecting from work helps to wake up with energy and recharged spirits to face the new day.

But the important thing about this idea is that we avoid being connected to electronics for at least 1 hour before going to bed.

Disconnecting from work means not checking email right before bed, but that doesn't mean you should focus on social media or playing games on your phone instead.

3. Make a to-do list

Bedtime is a good time to clear your mind, for example by writing down a list of things you still have to do. Successful and happy people free up their thinking so they can sleep better.

They often spend that time writing a to-do list to leave for the next day, so those thoughts don't take up mental space overnight.

4. Spend time with family

5. Do some exercise and eat lightly

Contrary to popular belief, exercising before going to bed relaxes the body and mind, something very effective for better rest. Some people enjoy a short walk just before bed. To sleep well the night before an exam, it can also help to exercise the morning before you go to sleep. Moderate sport facilitates the activation of hormones that produce well-being, causing the body to release tension and allow you to fall asleep better. The day before the exam and the morning of the exam, be sure to do some stretching and postural hygiene for your back and neck. Tension is likely to build up in your traps and releasing it will help you focus on your goal.

6. Think about the good things in life

Psucceed who succeed in life always think positively, so why not take a moment to remember the good things that have happened throughout the day? This helps me to be more optimistic about the future and to wake up with more enthusiasm. It is not easy trying to always think positively and therefore it is an interesting exercise to try to keep them together before going to bed. This also helps to visualize long and short-term goals.

If you need lunch for the next day or if you are preparing lunch for your family, it is good to leave it already prepared the night before. You can also prepare the clothes that you will wear in the morning, save the clothes that you wore that day, or put them in the laundry basket.

8.Review how the day went

Every day that begins is a new opportunity to improve. In the morning, we reset the counter to zero and we have many occasions to defeat ourselves in those internal struggles that we have every day. Although, if we don't pay attention, these struggles go unnoticed and we are unaware of our successes or failures.
